Grandmaster Dr. Al Catron Ph.D.
Grandmaster Al Catron began his martial arts career in Germany in 1956 studying Taekwondo. In 1973 he studied
Shaolin-Do under the instruction of Grandmaster Sin The' in Lexington Kentucky. In the early 1980's Grandmaster
Catron and Grandmaster Day founded Long Gin Shi while studying Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan under the direction of
Grandmaster Don Madden. In 1988 he founded Ryu Toushi a blended martial arts consisting of Shaolin Do, Ko
Sutemi Seiei Kan, and Shotokan. He continues to study and teach tai chi, Qigong, and Kyusho. Grandmaster
Catron was inducted into the EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2001 in which he holds many awards.
Grandmaster Catron has been a member of the Black Dragon Association the Black Dragon Fighting Society for
many years. He currently holds black belts in several martial arts: Shaolin-Do, Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan, and Shotokan.
He is the Soke Grandmaster of Ryu Toushi. Grandmaster Catron was served as a Paratrooper and was a golden
gloves fighter, and tough man competitor during his military service career. He also competed and won many full
contact karate tournaments with his most notable being the over 50 world champion. GGM Dr. Catron is a contract

1973. In 1983 he began studying Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu under the instruction
of Shidoshi Hayes. Master Catron is member of the Black Dragon Association
and the Black Dragon Fighting Society. He continues to study and expand his
education and experience in the study of Ninjutsu under the guidance of
Shihan Dr. Ernie Reynolds. He also continues to study and teach Qigong, Tai
Chi, and Kyusho Jutsu under the direct instruction of Grandmaster Dr. Al
Catron and Dr. Lawrence Day (Head of Family - Black Dragon Fighting
Society). Grandmaster Catron was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame in
2005. He currently holds black belts in several forms of martial arts: Shaolin-
Do, Ninjutsu, and Ryu Toushi. He is also a master of G-Jo Acupressure. He
has authored several training manuals that are currently in publication.
During his fighting career he competed in many tough man competitions. GM

Grandmaster Larry Elam 8th Dan
Grandmaster Elam began his martial arts career studying under Grandmaster
Al Catron in 1980's. Grandmaster Elam holds the rank certification of 8th Dan
in Ryu Toushi, 7th Dan in Ninpo Bushido Ryu Ninjutsu, and is a Master Tai Chi
instructor. Grandmaster Elam is currently expanding his martial arts
knowledge and skill with his continued studies of Ninjutsu, Tai Chi, and Kyusho
Jutsu. Grandmaster Elam was inducted into the EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall of
Fame in 2007. He is also a member of the Black Dragon Fighting Society.

GrandMaster Soke David Beach 5th Dan
Master Beach currently holds the rank of 5th Dan in the art of Ryu Toushi, 7th
Dan in the art of Ninpo Bushido Ryu and is the senior RTMMA Ninjutsu
instructor and Soke in the art of Ryu Tsume Iaijutsu. He continues to expand
his martial arts knowledge and skill with his studies of Ninjutsu, Tai Chi,
Kyusho Jutsu, and Iaido. He was inducted into the EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall
of Fame in 2007. He is also a member of the Black Dragon Fighting Society.

Sensei Herzog currently holds the rank of 3rd Dan in the arts of Ryu Toushi,

expand his martial arts knowledge and skill in his studies of these arts as well
as Kyusho Jutsu and Ryu Tsume Iaido. Sensei Herzog is the senior Ryu
Toushi Instructor.

Sensei Steinke currently holds the rank of 2nd Dan in the art of Ryu Toushi
