Grandmaster Dr. Al Catron Ph.D.
Grandmaster Al Catron began his martial arts career in Germany in 1956 studying
Taekwondo. In 1973 he studied Shaolin-Do under the instruction of Grandmaster
Sin The' in Lexington Kentucky. In the early 1980's Grandmaster Catron and
Grandmaster Day founded Long Gin Shi while studying Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan
under the direction of Grandmaster Don Madden. In 1988 he founded Ryu Toushi
a blended martial arts consisting of Shaolin Do, Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan, and
Shotokan. He continues to study and teach tai chi, Qigong, and Kyusho.
Grandmaster Catron was inducted into the EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall of Fame in
2001 in which he holds many awards. Grandmaster Catron has been a member
of the Black Dragon Association the Black Dragon Fighting Society for many
years. He currently holds black belts in several martial arts: Shaolin-Do, Ko
Sutemi Seiei Kan, and Shotokan. He is the Soke Grandmaster of Ryu Toushi.
Grandmaster Catron was served as a Paratrooper and was a golden gloves
fighter, and tough man competitor during his military service career. He also
competed and won many full contact karate tournaments with his most notable
being the over 50 world champion. GGM Dr. Catron is a contract security tactics
instructor and consultant. Dr. Catron was also granted 37th generation warrior
Monk under Grandmaster Young Di of the Shaolin Temple.
Grandmaster Lawrence Day
Dr. Day began his martial arts career under Count Dante’ and his sometimes
instructors Michael Felkoff and Jim Koncevic of the Black Dragon Fighting Society.
In the 70's and mid 80's , he studied Shaolin with Grandmaster Sin The’,then mid 80's
through 2005, he studied with Grandmaster Don Madden,also during that same time ,
was a student of Yuzee Yeh where he studied Tai Chi and other internal arts. Dr. Day
is one of the original Black Dragon Fighting Society students of Dante’ and has always
been a member of B.D.F.S. from 1965 to present day.
Dr. Day is currently the head of family of the Black Dragon Fighting Society world
wide. Dr. Day was also granted 37th generation warrior Monk under Grandmaster
Young Di of the Shaolin Temple. Dr. Day has been inducted into the E.U.S.A.I.M.M.A.
Hall of fame in which he holds many awards. Dr. Day continues teaching and learning
Tai Chi-Chi Kkung and his passion Chi-Ma,which he has studied for about 45 years.
